Band Practice is an attempt to make childhood rockstar dreams come true and also is a playful container to listen together.
When we practice band we practice joyfulness.
When we practice band we practice being together and being different at the same time.
When we practice band we practice being honest with each other and ourselves.
When we practice band we practice being okay in the world.
When we practice band we practice creation.
When we practice band we practice fucking it up.
When we practice band we practice reflecting on how we interact with others.

My work currently revolves around the notion of Listening. I have been spending time listening to the non human world, the city, sound, my emotion, snippets of conversation, animals, parks, forests, Hermannplatz, the words of others and many more things.
What do we do with the things we listen to? Or what do they do to us?
